Our History
Thomas E. Watson
As a child, Thomas Edward Watson set himself a lofty goal – to become “one of the first men of the state”. It set him on a path that led to a career as an attorney, author, politician, publisher and, most significantly, an avowed populist. His home is a testament to his continuing contributions to Southern culture.
