Dig History!: Bee’s Knees Art Lab (NEW!)
June 15-19, 2026
This camp is perfect for kids who love being creative or want to explore art in a fun, supportive environment. Campers will experiment with a variety of art materials and techniques while building foundational skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media.
Throughout the week, students will work on guided projects that encourage creativity, self-expression, and problem-solving. Activities may include sketching, color mixing, painting techniques, collage, exploring different media, and basic sculpture. The focus is on exploration and effort rather than perfection, helping students gain confidence in their artistic abilities.
Our relaxed, encouraging atmosphere lets students try new ideas, share their work, and learn from one another. No prior art experience is required—just a willingness to create and have fun!
Campers should enjoy being outdoors, getting a little messy, and embarking on creative adventures. Space is limited to 12 participants.

Communicable Diseases and Summer Camp
We will be updating the status of sessions here, as we get directions from the State of Georgia, CDC, and Georgia DECAL. We are hoping to have as many camp sessions as possible, but it is an ever evolving situation. In the event that a camp must be cancelled, we will notify everyone as soon as possible. At this time we are requiring that children not attend if they or someone in their family has been sick within a two week window of camp starting and that parents check their children’s temperature each day before camp. Please click the button below to see our complete Covid 19/Communicable Disease Plan.
Seasonal Employment
Hickory Hill has an education internship available during the summer of 2026 for an upcoming professional interested in art, history, ecology, environmental science, and educating children.
